TCROSS Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has been granted a Japanese patent for “GeoStance,” a newly developed feature of InsighTCROSS.
GeoStance is a proprietary system that addresses a long-standing challenge in the pharmaceutical industry: the lack of visibility into which medical institutions drive prescription volumes reflected in pharmacy sales. Leveraging a unique geospatial algorithm, GeoStance automatically estimates the originating medical institutions behind pharmacy-dispensed prescriptions.
Identifying these relationships has often resulted in inefficiencies, organizational silos, and misaligned performance evaluations within commercial teams. GeoStance overcomes these challenges by enabling flexible distance-based modelling tailored to regional and product-specific characteristics. It fairly and quantitatively allocates pharmaceutical sales from multiple pharmacies to relevant medical institutions. As a result, it significantly reduces the need for manual data collection while enabling data-driven, transparent, and efficient decision-making.
Importantly, this technology reduces dependency on external datasets while providing actionable insights into pharmaceutical sales dynamics. When integrated with InsighTCROSS, it enables not only sales attribution but also optimization of sales and marketing strategies, ultimately maximizing return on investment (ROI).
TCROSS plans to expand this technology to pharmaceutical and medical device companies globally, contributing to more efficient commercial operations and a more sustainable healthcare ecosystem.
